Personal Statement
I have chosen to study Child Care at Brooksby College, because my aspirations in life are to become a very successful Child nurse or Primary school teacher. I am a very friendly person and I thoroughly enjoy working with children and learning from the people around me. I go to college three days a week and I am also at a Primary school for work experience. This involves working with the foundation level, I am mixing with the children, I help supervise and basically get as much experience in the industry as possible. This placement has given me more confidence in the work place, I want to widen my work experience and gain as many skills as possible. I am a confident, joyful, team player who is willing to help others and I love to get involved.
Work Experience
In June 2011 I did work experience with my school, working at a nail bar for a week.
I had to meet and greet the clients, make drinks and help clean. Whilst working there I learnt how to be more professional whilst around the clients, I received an excellent report back from my work experience.
I used to clean for a family member for over a year, I did the cleaning every other weekend. Also in my spare time, I babysit for different people.
In July 2012 I had a job at La Farge offices. This job consisted of cleaning the offices for the people that worked in them in the evenings. I sadly had to leave in September 2012 as the times did not fit in with my college course.
