The Bakewell Treasure Trail
Can you solve the clues and find out where the jewels are hidden? Bakewell is a lovely Peak District market town famous for its puddings!

The Trail will take you through Bakewell’s most scenic and historic areas including Castle Street, Bath Street and Bath Gardens and the impressive All Saints Church with its collection of Saxon Crosses. There are plenty of places along the route for refreshments.

This Treasure Hunt Trail is approximately 2 miles long and should take you about 2 hours to complete. It is mostly on level, paved surfaces, except for in the vicinity of the church and is suitable for pushchairs. Wheelchair users will find the descent down the steps in church alley challenging, but can continue down church alley and turn left at the end as an alternative.

Trails are self-guided and can be instantly downloaded from our website. Follow the Trail, solve the clues and see the sights on any day of your choosing. There is no need to phone us for opening details. All Trails are designed to be completed in daylight and that is your only restriction.

Admission:

£6.99 per Trail (not per person). One Trail booklet recommended for a
