Liverpool’s centre for the contemporary arts, Bluecoat showcases talent across visual art, music, dance, live art and literature. As the most historic building in Liverpool’s city centre, Bluecoat has four galleries. It houses a creative community of artists and businesses and runs a participation programme with local communities. Open daily 10am - 6pm Enjoy the exhibition and watch a film about the artists, created by members of Blue Room - a group of artists with learning disabilities. Eating and drinking... Ask for an activity sheet and some crayons from staff at the Upstairs bistro or Espresso. The bistro also has a children’s menu.
