exhibition led by artists and members of our
Blue Room project. Drop in between 1 and 4pm
and stay as long as you like!

Open daily 10am - 6pm Enjoy the exhibition and watch a film about the artists, created by members of Blue Room - a group of artists with learning disabilities. Eating and drinking... Ask for an activity sheet and some crayons from staff at the Upstairs bistro or Espresso. The bistro also has a children’s menu. Liverpool’s centre for the contemporary arts, the Bluecoat showcases talent across visual art, music, dance, live art and literature. As the most historic building in Liverpool’s city centre, the Bluecoat has four galleries. It houses a creative community of artists and businesses and runs a participation programme with local communities. Opening hours Mon - Sat 9.00am - 6.00pm Sun 11.00am - 6.00pm Explore: Every Saturday 1 – 4pm in the Hub at the Bluecoat. Free, drop in. Explore offers free, fun, creative activities for all the family every Saturday. Drawing, painting, cutting out, sticking, planting, making, animation, photography... it’s all going on at the Bluecoat during Explore sessions. Most of the activities are linked to artwork in the gallery so you can enjoy looking at the exhibition and then make some art of your own. Whether you want to spend a few hours or just need a quick activity to break up a shopping trip, Explore is perfect for you. You can drop in at any time between 1 and 4pm and our Explore leaders will help you join in with our activities. Activities change on a regular basis so you can keep coming and always expect something different. |
