The Runway Visitor Park

The Runway Visitor Park is a fantastic trip for kids fascinated by flight, with raised viewing mounds offering a clear 180 degree view over the airfield from which to see some of the 600 daily aircraft movements! It's a fascinating environment and one which almost everyone will get something out of.

There’s also a great outdoor children's play area for them to play pilots on and a handy repository for that pocket money that’s been tickling your pocket in the kiddie section of their Aviation Shop.

Admission:

Parking costs £3 an hour.

The Park is Free for visitors who get here by foot, bike or on public transport.   

Opening Times: 

From 8am daily with a seasonally varying close between 4pm and 8pm. Closed on Christmas Day.
