Rutland Water lies in the heart of Rutland, surrounded by the beautiful rolling countryside of England's smallest county. This Driving/Cycling Trail starts in Hambleton, on the peninsula and proceeds along the South Shore to Normanton, with stops at Egleton, Manton, Edith Weston along the way. At Normanton you need to park in the barrier controlled car park to complete the Trail, stroll along to the spectacular half-submerged church and take a deserved rest for refreshment. Admission: £6.99 per Trail (not per person). One Trail booklet recommended for a group of 4 to 5 people. Opening Times: Trails are self-guided and can be instantly downloaded from our website. Follow the Trail, solve the clues and see the sights on any day of your choosing. There is no need to phone us for opening details. All Trails are designed to be completed in daylight and that is your only restriction.
