The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction in the heart of the Lake District brings all 23 of the author’s tales to life where visitors meet all the characters including Jemima Puddle-Duck, Mrs Tiggy-Winkle, the Flopsy Bunnies and, of course, Peter Rabbit. The Attraction is a magical place where place, where visitors can glimpse scenes from the familiar Lake District landscape, learn how nature inspired Beatrix and the contribution she made to preserving the place she made home for generations to come. In the Beatrix Potter Shop visitors will find one of the most comprehensive Beatrix Potter gift ranges anywhere in the UK including; toys, books, gardening gifts and nursery ideas. Afterwards visitors can unwind in the award winning Beatrix Potter Tearoom, where visitors can sample tempting treats made from fresh local ingredients and organic produce grown in our own Peter Rabbit Kitchen Garden.

The World of Beatrix Potter is a vibrant family attraction, bringing to life all 23 enchanting stories in a magical recreation of the beautiful Lake District countryside.

The exhibition features favourite characters from the famous books including Peter Rabbit and Mrs Tiggy-winkle, and the outdoor Peter Rabbit Garden offers visitors a timeless view of Mr. McGregor's vegetable patch.

Kids can enjoy a free activity sheet whilst grownups absorb themselves in Miss Potters history in the fascinating virtual world and interactive area. With a superb character-themed family friendly cafe and a world-famous gift shop, all generations of visitors can experience a little bit of Beatrix Potter magic, whatever the weather!
