Tropiquaria Zoo, award winning Animal and Adventure Park is a great day out for adults and children of all ages. Hold a snake or creepy crawly in the Tropical Hall, visit the amazing puppet show and the strange fish in the aquarium. For a nostalgic experience see the Radio Museum. Outside play for hours on the full-size pirate ships or in the Indoor Play Castle, and don't forget the animals all around our grounds. Tropiquaria has a fine collection of rare and beautiful animals from around the world. We are active in conservation work, and have great plans for the future. Tropiquaria has an assortment of play facilities, both inside and outside, that permit younger folk to play, often in line of sight of their parents. Our facilities include two full size replica pirate ships, a play fort and an outside play area including a zip wire. In the indoor café we have a fort and a small ball park that is made with the under fives in mind. At the height of the season our outdoor pirate café and shop. THE RADIO MUSEUM Tropiquaria is situated in an old radio transmitting station and our radio museum has lots of information about the old station (which still transmits from the back of the building). There are hundreds of radios to look at as well as lots of other radio memorabilia - a real trip down memory lane. The Radio Museum is situated through the gift shop in the main building.
