West Bay Beach also known as St Mildred'soffers a sandy and pebbly through to rocky beach, good for rock pooling and exploring! There's plenty of little creatures to find in the pools so it's well worth the effort of toting a bucket and net along with you. Plus there's safe paddling and with summer lifeguards in high season you can go a little further out with confidence if the conditions are right to. Remember not to take inflatables due to the currents. Immediate vicinity amenities are well catered for families with promenade cafes, trinket shops and good toilet facilities with disabled access. Other features include tennis and putting facilities, plus sailing and windsurfing hire which are all independently managed. All in all there's actually loads to do, just not much of it on the spur of the moment, so be a good boy scout and be prepared! Please note that the postcode given is for Satnav purposes to get you as close as we can, there should be signs from here. Please ensure you plan your journey thoroughly and independently.
