A visit to Wildwood, is a great day out for all the family where you can see over 200 British animals past and present. Set in 40 acres of ancient woodland, Wildwood holds a stunning collection of over 200 British animals in semi-natural enclosures, laid out around a twisting woodland trail. See wolves, foxes, deer, badgers, owls, wild horses, lynx, beavers, wild cats, bison, squirrels, wild boar, otters and many more. Wildwood is not just a wildlife park but is also a unique conservation project that aims to protect our native wildlife. Many of the animals at Wildwood are now extinct in the UK or are under threat, so when you visit you are playing your part in helping some of the UK’s most endangered animals. Join our experts at weekends and school holidays for free close-up animal talks and feeds when you can learn all about the animals, visit the Beaver Lodge Cafe or enjoy a picnic in our spacious picnic area.
