Woolley Wood has a great variety of trees, some of which are not native, so it is a great place for kids to compare and try to identify different species. Look out for the yew trees as they are unusual for this area. Hundreds of beautiful bluebells can be seen during the spring, plus a number of plants including wild garlic, wood anemone and yellow archangel. There are so many different birds to watch out for, plus animals that include squirrels, moles, hedgehogs, foxes, rabbits and weasels.
