Some of the zoos listed maybe farms, or petting farms, these zoos have a varied selection of animals for viewing. there are lions and you can sometimes drive through the paddocks and view them from the comfort of your car. there are also baboons and monkeys which can be fun to watch. Or there are elephants, giraffes and other African and Indian animals. A lot of zoos have collections of insects and birds and also water creatures, all in all a trip out to the zoo is an educational experience for your children:
If you are living in the Dundee region and you are looking for a great day out then why don't you take the family to your local zoo. With so much to see and do, a trip to the zoo will be the great outing for mums and dads of all ages. From Grandparents to tots, aunties and uncles, a day trip to the zoo is terrific fun for all the friends and family. A day trip to your nearest zoo close to Dundee is both educational and useful, and will leave you with a lasting impact. The creatures on show will include a lot of types of rare, unique and endangered wildlife. Getting close up to one of the larger wildlife including hippopotamus or even gorillas is an unique experience. You will find a lot of distinct varieties of wild birds to view at a zoo for instance eagles and wading birds. Many zoos have a reptile building so you can see creatures like extremely poisonous snakes including adders. A broad collection of mammals shall be on exhibit such as bears and red pandas. From the rivers and seas of our planet you will find a lot of impressive species of fish to see such as unicorn fish. Varied and colourful underwater life for example octopus are usually brilliant to see. Amphibians for example frogs are usually fascinating for little ones of all ages to examine. A zoo is a place where living creatures are housed to be displayed and studied. The actual title is a popular variety of zoological garden, and a good number of zoos are landscapes or recreational areas that contains buildings and also various other enclosures. Zoos generally look after only untamed creatures, many of these coming from faraway countries. However, some zoos house domestic creatures such as cows and chicks to display to city kids that have no way to pay a visit to farms. Children's zoos are sometimes included in zoological gardens. They may have nurseries where children can see young creatures, and sometimes have got sections where kids may pet and feed tame creatures. Zoos are definitely important centres of wildlife preservation. Many zoos breed endangered animals, some of that are no longer found in the wild.
